MERLO rotation reducer planetary gear

PGA Part number M0274.

Turret Slewing Reduction Planetary Gearbox for Merlo Roto Telehandlers

The high-precision planetary reduction gear set for Merlo Roto turret slewing drives transfers rotational torque from the hydraulic slewing motor to the main slewing ring gear. Satellite gear tooth wear, carrier deformation, or internal surface galling leads to jerky upper superstructure rotation, dangerous mechanical backlash in the slewing assembly, and loss of positioning control during 360-degree boom operations.

Manufactured to heavy-duty industrial standards, this planetary gear set delivers enhanced mechanical resistance against severe torsional spikes, dynamic shock loads, and structural fatigue under high payloads.

Key technical features:

Application: Planetary reduction gear set for the turret slewing reduction drive on Merlo Roto rotating telehandlers
Construction: Precision-matched planet gears, sun gear, and carrier components engineered for exact fitment inside the reduction casing
Resistance: Built from heat-treated alloy steel featuring enhanced mechanical resistance against gear tooth wear, shearing forces, and heavy duty fatigue
Machining precision: Precision-ground gear teeth with optimized profile geometry ensuring quiet, vibration-free power transfer and minimal gear play

Compatible machine series:

Fits slewing reduction gearboxes across rotating Merlo telehandler ranges:

Merlo Roto (including Roto 38.16, 40.25, 45.21, 50.30, 60.24, and others)
